Carmen Larimar is a Dominican Larimar and Amber jewelry store based in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. For any privacy matter, email us at [email protected].

What data we collect

• Order details: name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, delivery address and the pieces you buy.
• Payment details: processed by PayPal. We never see or store your card number.
• Your email, if you join the Collector Circle newsletter.
• Browsing data: pages you visit, device type, approximate country and how you reached the store, through cookies and measurement tools.

What we use it for

• To process, ship and keep you updated on your order.
• To help you by email or WhatsApp when you contact us.
• To send you the newsletter, only if you subscribed. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To understand how the store is used so we can improve it, and to measure and show our ads on Facebook and Instagram.

We never sell your data.

Who we share it with

Only with the services we need to run the store:

• PayPal, to process payments.
• DHL Express, to deliver your order.
• Zoho Mail, to send order confirmation emails.
• Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, to measure visits. Clarity may anonymously record how you move through the page (clicks and scrolling) to help us improve it.
• Meta (Facebook and Instagram), through the Meta Pixel and Conversions API, to measure and show our ads.
• Cloudflare and our hosting provider, which host and protect the store.

Cookies

We use cookies to make the store work (for example, to remember your bag and language) and for the measurement and advertising described above. You can delete or block them in your browser settings, and manage the ads you see in the ad settings of your Facebook or Instagram account.

How long we keep it

We keep order data for as long as needed to fulfil the order and meet our accounting and legal obligations. Your newsletter email is kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time for a copy of your data, to correct or delete it, or to stop receiving emails. Write to [email protected] and we will reply within 30 days.

If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page with its update date.
